About
Howdy. I’m David Zdinak, a twenty something college student and avid video game design hobbist. I’m using this site to serve as a log of my own projects and some collaborated projects with friends and other game design hobbyists. If you see me in game my name is necrobard, literally meaning death poet. There isn’t really much else to say about me, other then I love video games and I love tweaking and modding them.
Ok thats enough about me, on to my pride and joy, my computer. The history of my, and I do mean my custom built ones, computers started after I got my first job, and I put all that money towards a computer. The original case I got was huge, an Antec Server case, the damn thing was full steel weighing in a 45lb and about 2 feet tall. The only name that seemed appropriate to me for the computer that massive was “Monolith”. The computer has kept it’s name from then on, only adding a version number to the end, despite the fact that I have switched to a much smaller Antec Nine Hundred case. I am currently on Monolith5. So with out any further back story, here’s the specs for Monolith5:
MoBoard: MSI NF750-G55 AM3 NVIDIA nForce 750a SLI
Processor: AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition Deneb 3.4GHz
RAM: G.SKILL 8GB (4 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 1600
Vid Cards: MSI N285GTX SuperPipe OC GeForce GTX 285 1GB
Sound Card: Creative XFI Fatal1ty Pro
Hard Drives: 5x Western Digital 1TB SATA 32MB 3.0gbps in a RAID 5
Monitor: 22.5″ Asus LCD (16:9 ratio)
Resolution (desktop and in all games): 1920 ×1080
