Mann vs Machine Random Mission Generator

Growing bored of the default 9 missions I decided to figure out how to edit the existing ones and also make my own. This immediately made me want to create tons of missions… but I really don’t have time for that… so I wrote a program to make missions for me. I started this project about two days after Mann vs Machine came out and I think I finally got it to a point where it was ready to be tested on a larger scale. Lets get down to the nitty gritty. Porting models from Vindictus to Garry’s mod.

A while back I figured out how to convert the models from Vindictus and recompile them for Garrys mod, however I never really did anything with it since I was busy with school and the Dawn of War 2 models, which I’m still porting to Garrys Mod as well. After randomly browsing the mmo section of facepunch forums I saw some people struggling to figure out how to do what I did, so I decided to write a tutorial to help them out. Fallout New Vegas – Mods Ahoy!

I was playing Fallout 3 for quite sometime before the release of New Vegas, and came across this mod: “20th Century Weapons”. It’s a really nice mod that adds almost every gun that was made in the last 150 years of human history, and thusly is an amazing library of weapon models. I have attempted to contact the creator of this mod to find out if he is working on a New Vegas version of it, however I have yet to hear back from him. I have however began porting some of the weapons myself, though sadly have no authority to release them. I’m quite happy with New Vegas’s new G.E.C.K. the game it self added alot of ne strong weapon features to the game including weapon attachment mods and different ammo types. Thanks to the fallout 3 mod’s large selection of weapon models I was able to make use of these 2 new features right away. One of the first thinks I have worked on now is the AA-12, allowing for it’s default 8 round box mag, adding a mod for it’s 20 round drum mag, and of course adding Frag-12 rounds to Fallout as well.
